Eva was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on October 5, 1937. She graduated in Manhattan, NY and received a high school diploma.
She was married to Miguel Rivera in April 1986.
Eva had a career in hairstyling at Ada’s Beauty Salong, and she was also a seamstress for Lisa-Jo-Textiles. She had a passion for arts and crafts, sewing, and hair dressing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel Rivera, and two sisters, Verna Reyes and Ada Cardona.
She is survived by a daughter, Yolanda Sutherland; sisters, Myrna Rodriguez and Norma Cardona; and grandchildren, Daniel R. Sutherland and Dina E. Sutherland.
A visitation for Eva will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Dignity Memorial Life Celebration Center, 7134 Powell Road, Wildwood, FL 34785, followed by a memorial service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
