Myrna was born on September 25, 1952, in Brooklyn, New York, and most recently resided in Wildwood, Florida—a place she proudly called home. She could often be found soaking up the sun by the pool or enjoying a day of shopping.
Driven and determined, Myrna diligently worked her way up the corporate ladder, ultimately retiring from Goldman Sachs as an Executive Assistant after more than 30 years of dedicated service. She took great pride in herself, her work, and, most importantly, her family. She was adored by her sisters—affectionately known as the “Golden Girls”—and was the trailblazer who encouraged them all to move to Florida so they could enjoy retirement together.
Myrna was fun-loving and filled every room with laughter. She enjoyed traveling and cherished every moment spent doting on her grandchildren, who were her absolute pride and joy and lovingly knew her as “Mema.”
She was preceded in death by her parents, Enrique and Elba Espinosa, and her beloved husband of 42 years, Richard Gonzalez. She is survived by her sisters, Minerva (Miguel), Diana (Richard), and Sandra (Sergio); her sons, Robert Gonzalez (Deborah) and Jason Gonzalez (Angela); and her treasured grandchildren, Joshua, Rebekah, Rachel, Jeremy, Peter, and Giuseppe.
Affectionately self-proclaimed “Titi Bella,” Myrna loved her many nieces and nephews as her own. They viewed her as a “bonus mom,” role model, and best friend. Through her deep love of Christ, Myrna touched the lives of countless friends and family members, always offering sound guidance, comfort, and spiritual wisdom.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.
Please join us in celebrating her life on Saturday, February 14, 2026 (Valentine’s Day), from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Dignity Memorial Life Celebration Center, 7134 Powell Road, Wildwood, Florida 34785, with a service beginning at 2:30 p.m. Intimate reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, please honor Myrna by sharing your favorite memories.
