Frances J Holmer

Frances J. Holmer (85) of Willard, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014 at her home. She was born July 2, 1929 in Republic to the late Francis “Frank” Lacy and Ruth (Kerschner) Owens. Mrs. Holmer was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Willard. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Holmer is survived by 3 sons: Robert (Dian) Holmer of Willard, Larry (Debbie) Holmer of Fremont, and Gary (Donna Holmer of Republic. 4 daughters: Janet Barnett of Attica, Sharon (Mark) Cole of MI, Brenda (Gerald) Cox of Bellevue, and Karen (Gary) Shafer of Willard. 19 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Leo Holmer, 2 brothers: Jake and Tom Lace, and sister Marjorie Platt.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 25, 2014 at Church of the Nazarene, 4414 Township Road 12 West, Willard. Friends may call Sunday 3-6 P.M. Sunday at the church. Interment will be held at Attica-Venice Township Cemetery, Attica. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Church. The Staff of the Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave, Willard assisted the family with arrangements.
