

Max LaMont Mullins, Sr., 67, of Willard, passed away at Lexington Court Care Center on Sunday, March 5, 2017. He was born the son of Dewey Allen and Clair (Collins) Mullins in Wheelwright, Kentucky on October 31, 1949. Always full of jokes, Max loved to make people laugh and was known for his humor and witty one-liners. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting for mushrooms and arrowheads. Max had even taught himself how to carve arrowheads out of the flint he would sometimes find while he was out on one of his expeditions. In addition to his many other hobbies, Max also liked to played the guitar.
Max is survived by his children; Lolanda (Larry) Goad, Max L. (Amy) Mullins, Jr., Michael (Deanna) Mullins, Matthew Mullins, Arthur Mullins, siblings; Eric T. Mullins, Tessie Smith, Frank Mullins, Pamela Mullins, Kenny Mullins, grandchildren; Kassandra, Kristina, Kendra Bentley, Jazmine Brock, Michael Mullins Jr., Jacob Mullins, great-grandchildren; Leland Bentley, Gabriel Bentley, and Luna Mullins. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Denita Mullins.
Friends and family are invited to visitation on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 S. Myrtle Avenue, Willard, Ohio, 44890.
