Ortrude Clara Diehm (95) of Willard, went to be with her lord on Saturday, June 4, 2011 surrounded by her loving family in her home. She was born June 28, 1915 in Willard to the late Joseph and Mary (Bischoff) Hahler. She was married October 3, 1945 to Leon J. Diehm who preceded her in death in 1995.
Mrs. Diehm was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, member of the former St. Sebastian Catholic Church of Bismark and most recently of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Attica. Mrs. Diehm enjoyed reading, farming, gardening, crocheting, baking, and most recently painting and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Diehm is survived by her son: Marvin (Tami) Diehm of Attica, 4 daughters: Karen (Bob) Ott of Norwalk, Marilyn (Ronnie) Martin of Willard, Eileen (John) Hosang of Attica and Norma (Tony) Leis of Willard. 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Brother: Howard Hahler of Willard and sister: Florence Brown of Bellevue. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters: Helen Haspeslagh and Agnes Hahler. And brothers: Robert and Richard Hahler.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the Our Lady of Hope Church. Burial will be in the St. Sebastian Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 1295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica with a Rosary Service being held at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday.
