Ashley Nicole Ryan

Ashley Nicole Ryan, of Toano, VA, tragically passed away in her home on May 7, 2019. She leaves behind her beloved parents, Michael and Rosemary Ryan. She was a cherished granddaughter of Joe and Diane Battersby and Henry and Victoria Ryan; niece of Anthony Battersby, Jennifer and Eric Dent, and Jonathan Ryan; cousin of Emily Dent, Peyton Dent, Jonathan Ryan, Samantha Ryan, Nathan Gross, and Madison Gross. She will also be missed by her beloved cat, Dawn.

Ashley was a freshman at Warhill High School and will be remembered by her family and friends for her kind and generous soul. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held in her honor on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, from 3-5 pm, followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, Virginia at 5:00 pm. Family and friends are also invited back to the family home after the service.
