Barbara Jane Walsh

Barbara Jane Walsh, 73, of Williamsburg, formerly of Reston, Virginia and College Point, New York, passed away on April 25, 2014. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty-one years, Michael, her father, Thomas, and mother, Irene. She was a member of St. Olaf Catholic Church and an active member of her community. Barbara had a passion for spending time with the family, cooking, and decorating. Barbara always enjoyed celebrating life with family and friends and she was always the life of the party!

She is survived by her three daughters, Kathy (Kevin Bogner), Kelly ( Erik Wallace), and Kristi ( Peter Stewart); grandchildren Jordan, Sydney, Connor, Cole, Nicole, Ryan, Megan, Dylan, Rachel; her siblings Tom, Bill (Sue Spillett), Maureen (Charles Miller); and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will take place at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, VA on Monday, April 28th, from 5-8pm. A service will be held at St. Olaf Catholic Church, 104 Norge Lane, Williamsburg, VA, on Tuesday, April 29, at 10 AM.
