Born in Waukegan, IL on January 9, 1926, to the late Walter and Elsie Hirk, she moved with her family to Miami, FL in 1939. She was also predeceased by two siblings, Walter Hirk and Carolyn Arnold.
She was married to the late (2006) Jack Caracci (of New Orleans, LA) in 1947, and they lived together in North Miami, FL, for 35 years, retired for 25 years to Silver Springs, FL, and then moving to Ocala, FL. For 30 years, she worked as a bookkeeper for Norton Tire Company in Miami, FL, was an avid antique collector and loved her home. She was also an active Catholic parishioner.
She will be interred next to her husband at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens in Ocala, FL.
