Bobby A. Drewry, age 72, of Lanexa, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 13, after a brave battle with lung cancer. Bobby met and married his life partner Joanne in 1969 and combined their family of 10 children.
Bobby was a self-employed logger for 55 years. He was an avid boat racer and was inducted into the Gulf Marine Hall of Fame in 1971 for his accomplishments in this sport.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne and 8 children.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 17 from 6-8pm, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, VA.
