Carl Lorin Burns Jr.

Carl Burns Jr., 66, of James City County, passed away on June 13, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Burns Sr., and Felicia Espino. Carl served his country for many years as a proud Marine. After his active service with the military, he worked for the Beretta Gun Factory in Indian Head, MD and as self-employed subcontractor. In his spare time, he enjoyed weight lifting and working on model planes. Carl is survived by his ex-wife, Diana Robbins; son, Daniel Burns; daughter, Sandra Wharton (David); grandchildren, Jennifer Wilkes, Julia Burns, and Kaylee Stanley; sister, Christine Burns Vonk; brother-in-law, Mike Vonk; and brother, Richard Burns.
