She was a graduate of George Mason University, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. Most recently Cynthia was a construction manager for Riverside Health System where she was instrumental in the ground-breaking construction of the recently completed surgical center. She was also a member of St. Bede Roman Catholic Church in Williamsburg and was a frequent volunteer at Walsingham Academy.
Cynthia leaves to cherish her life and memory her fiancé and loving companion, Ronald Beichner; children, Frank D. Pelli, Jr., and Ashley Pelli; granddaughter, Olivia Pelli; mother and step-father, Jack and Margaret Sturgis; sister, Jeanne Shadoan; brothers, Ronald, Richard and Calvin Dimsey II.
A visitation for Cynthia will be held Wednesday, July 2, from 5 PM-8 PM, at Everly Funeral Home, 10565 Main St, Fairfax, VA 22030. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday beginning at 11 AM, at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, 3700 Old Lee Hwy, Fairfax, VA 22030. Cynthia will be laid to rest at a later date in Fairfax, VA.
