Deborah Leigh Allen

Deborah Leigh Allen passed away on May 5, 2024 at the age of 48. She was the beloved daughter of Ed Allen, Jr. (Debbie) and Leigh Quick (Gary). She is also survived by her siblings, Laurie Weaver (Ben), Edward Allen, III (Katherine), Steven Allen, and Karley Allen; many cousins, nieces and nephews, and her much-loved aunt, Deborah “Deb Deb” Nichols. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ed and Louise Allen and Laurina Rawlings; and her dear cousin, George Allen. Deborah graduated from UNC – Wilmington with a degree in criminal justice in 1998 and began her career as a fraud investigator. Deborah graduated from New Kent High School in 1994 and in 2023 she was inducted into the New Kent Hall of Fame. She excelled in basketball, volleyball and softball.
