Manny was a Corporal for the US Army who served during the Korean War. Later, he became the Chief Editor for the US Geological Survey.
A graduate of Temple University, he served for over 30 years with the Rohrersville Ruritan, a community service organization, and was a parishioner of St Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg. He enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, and spending time with his family.
Manny is survived by his son, Michael G. James (Kimberly); daughter, LisaAnn (Scott Rauenzahn); grandchildren, Cynthia Carter (Bryce), Sarah Jacob (Michael), and Laura James; great-grandchild, Easton Carter; and many friends.
