

She was born at Lynchburg Memorial Hospital in Lynchburg, Virginia. Eve was loved by her family, friends, and community.
She was predeceased by her parents, John Homer Pulliam and Elizabeth Cornelia (DePriest) Pulliam; sister, Christine Sarah (Pulliam) Martin; niece, Carol Anne (Eubank) Wright; and nephew, George Carter Eubank, Jr.
Eve attended Warrenton Elementary School, Warrenton, Virginia; Calverton High School, Calverton, Virginia, and graduated from Cedar Lee High School, Bealeton, Virginia in 1958.
Her initial work career started with a couple of years at Craddock and Terry Shoe Company, Lynchburg, Virginia. In her professional career spanning more than five decades, Eve worked as a Legal Secretary and Paralegal. She worked for several prominent Estate and Property Management Lawyers in Arlington, Virginia. Provided administrative assistance for a couple of years to the Treasurer of Arlington County, Virginia. She also worked several years providing administrative assistance to the Corporate Counsel, Barnum, Bailey and Ringling Brothers Circus, and to the Director, Department of Defense Middle East Project.
She was also well known for her knowledge of land use, development of private real estate and property development. In that capacity, she provided pro bono assistance to several friends and neighbors.
Her love and knowledge of flowers and landscaping provided ready assistance to her husband and neighbors.
Eve will be deeply missed by those who knew her. She leaves behind cherished memories that will forever remain etched in the hearts and minds of her loved ones. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Thomas W. Palmer, their son, Michael Shawn Palmer and his wife, Rocio Milagros Neyra Prado Palmer, and step-daughter, Sherri Lynn (Palmer) (Johnson) Garcia, sister Anne McCoy (Pulliam) Eubank, great-niece Brandee Anne Eubank, great-great nephew Kadyn Eubank and nephew John Hubert Martin, Jr.
The care of Mrs. Eve Palmer has been entrusted to Nelsen Funeral Home, Williamsburg, Virginia. At Eve's request, services will be private. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and Hospice Care, Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Facility.
