Gail Susla Homer

Gail Susla Homer, 83, of Williamsburg, passed away February 18, 2021. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Peter Susla. Gail studied at Sandwich High School (MA), University of Connecticut, and Mary Washington College of the University of Virginia. She then worked as a self-employed pharmacist until retirement. She was an active member of St. Martin's Episcopal Church as an usher and reader. She had a passion for flowers, gardening, traveling, and UConn Women's basketball. She is survived by her spouse of 23 years, Eugene A. "Joe" Homer, Jr, USMC-RET; sons, Ben Susla (Holly), and John Susla (Liz); daughter, Liz Schall; grandchildren, Molly Susla, Jake Susla, Caroline Susla, and Katherine Susla; sister, Jean McCarroll; and stepdaughter, Justine Homer.
