He was preceded in death by his dad, Gary Freeman; his mom, Dorothy “Dot” Pierce; his sister, Susan Freeman; father-in-law, Evan Dale Shirey; and his step-daughter, Amber Leigh Singleton.
He is survived by the love of his life, Laurie Shirey; 2 stepsons, Shawn and Michael Singleton; aunt, Evelyn (Ebbie) Deisher; uncle Richard Deisher; a sister, Becky Reavis Deeds; a sister-in-law, Helen Blake; a brother, Stephen Freeman; mother-in-law, Bonnie Shirey; sister-in-law, Katy Suiter; and 2 brothers-in-law, David Suiter and James Shirey. He leaves behind many friends who will miss him greatly.
Duane loved the Dallas Cowboys, Duke Blue Devils, Los Angeles Dodgers, Nascar, and Richard Petty. When the good Lord called him home Duane was very much at peace and looking forward to meeting his creator and savior!
