George Franklin Davis

George Davis, 95, of Williamsburg, Virginia passed away at Greenfield Senior Living of Williamsburg on August 22, 2021. George was born on June 1, 1926 in Hawertons, Virginia to the late Robert H. Davis & Clarrissa Harper Davis. He was married to the love of his life Katherine Davis for 63 years, who preceded him in death.

George lived his adult life in Williamsburg where he retired from Camp Perry. He also served in the Korean War. He loved hunting and fishing.

George is survived by his children, Teresa Sancaktar and her husband, Erol of Tallmadge, OH; and Kevin Davis and his wife, Susie of Dallas, GA. He has four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A special thank you to Robert Ripley and his wife Cathy and many friends for all of the visits and care given to George.
