Hazel McReynolds was my mom, my best friend, my confidant, my cheerleader, my prayer warrior! I cherish every precious memory we made together! We had so many good times together! She was a wonderful example of how to live a Christian life! I miss her so much and think of a million things I want to tell her every day!! I'm glad you aren't suffering anymore mom, but the selfish part of me wants you to be here on earth with me!! I know I'll see you again!! I thank God that I was blessed to have you as my beautiful mom for almost 56 yrs!! I thank you for being the truly wonderful person you were!! Love your daughter, Rebecca Lynne

My Aunt Hazel was so fun to be with.  She was hard-working, kind, and loving.  I don't remember her ever saying a bad word about anyone.  I thank God for her in my life and , while I will miss her, I know she is happy to be at home with the Lord.  In all my music pages I have a note on "How Great Thou Art" as being her favorite.  I will think of her singing with joy in His very presence some heavenly song I can't even imagine.

I am so glad you are no longer in any pain Aunt Hazel.  I thank you for being such a strong godly woman and an example of how we should live our lives.  I look forward to seeing you again some day.  Love Janet

I am Hazel,s sister-in-law, Virginia Mullins and Jimmie her husband is my brother.  Hazel and I liked each other from the first time Jimmie and her were married.  I would visit them and Hazel and I would start giggling just over anything it seemed, much to Jimmie.s dismay.  But we always had a good time together and she would let me borrow her clothes when I was a teenager and in particular a beauitful lavender dress that Jimmie had bought her.  Later in life we always talked about serving God and how He had blessed our families.  The last time I saw Hazel was about six months ago and she and I were talking about how good God is.  I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I was sharing as we said good-bye that I was depending upon God and I said to her I know your also.  She was standing holding her cane for support and she said "I would have given up a long time ago" if not for God.  She has suffered but praise be to God she is resting in his Heaven and basking in His love.  Romans 8:18  For I reckon that the sufferings  of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.  I thank God for Hazel and Jimmie and now our prayers are with Jimmie, Rebecca and Family as they have to go on without her only by God's amazing grace.
