Henry Layone Lane

He served in the U.S. Air Force and worked as a crane operator, serving whoever needed him. Henry was an avid member of James River Baptist Church. He also enjoyed playing the guitar, hunting and fishing. He loved RC airplanes, boating on the river, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary-Jo Lane; his son, Robert Lane (Gina); his daughter, Laura Harrington (Robert); his grandchildren, Amanda, Jonathan and Aden; his great-granddaughters, Annabelle, Jessa and Christine; brother, Rodney Lane (Mary); sisters, Yvonne Cowger (Denzel), Brenda Spillane (Brian); brother-in-law, Laszlo Brachok; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 28 at James River Baptist Church, 4931 Centerville Rd., Williamsburg, where services will begin at 2:00 PM.
