

He is preceded in death by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 58 years, Jean Lindsey. He is survived by his daughter, Diane Postman (Eric); and grandsons, Zachary Postman (Natalie) and Nathan Postman (Kelsey). He is also survived by his wife of two years, Tracey Eileen Lindsey who was a friend and companion in his final years.
Henry grew up in Farmville, VA. He went from raising bees on his porch to studying science at "Mr. Jefferson's University". He was a medic in the army, stationed in Germany. They moved to Williamsburg where he taught high school biology for 40 years.
Henry served as an EMT for the JCC rescue squad and was president of the volunteers. Later, he became a driver for the American Cancer Society. He also was a lifetime member of the NRA.
Henry had many interests, including Shakespeare, jazz, and world travel. He was an accomplished photographer, a passion that he passed along to and shared with Diane.
A graveside service will be held at 2:45pm on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Williamsburg Memorial Park.
