Jack Glenn Jones passed away March 8, 2023. He was born on September 7, 1938 to the late Earl and Cecil Jones. He was preceded in death by his brother, David and sister, Cheryl. He is survived by his wife of 64 yrs., Jeanette; two daughters, Cindy Carroll and husband Terry, and Tammy White and husband Bob; two grandsons, Ryan William Johnson, and Jeremy Glenn Johnson, and one great grandson, Bryson Ray Johnson; one brother, Robert Jones of Toano, and one sister, Helen McCormick of Selma, Texas.
Jack retired as a lab technician from Anheuser Busch. He was a member of Williamsburg Host Lions Club, Williamsburg Masonic Lodge #6 and Chickahominy Lodge #286, and past master of both. He was district deputy grand master of Masonic District #57 from 2011 to 2012 and a member of the Scottish rite and Williamsburg Shrine Club.
He loved to stay on the go, to camp, spend time in Myrtle Beach, listen to country music, spend time with friends and have family dinners. He was very blessed to have had so many longtime friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2:00pm at the United Methodist Church on Jamestown Rd. His body has been donated to science with the hope it will help in finding a cure for dementia. Donations may be made to either Lodge or the Williamsburg Host Lions Club.
