Janet Connors

Janet was a member of Saint Bede Catholic Church, a dedicated grandmother who loved animals and traveling, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was the most kind hearted, thoughtful, loving woman; a true gentle soul.

For the past 6 ½ years, she has courageously battled cancer in a graceful, dignified manner.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph J. Costello and Catherine Costello; brother, Joseph E. Costello; and sister, Carol Novak.

Survivors include her husband, John F. Connors; sons, John J. Connors and Brian P. Connors (Cassia); daughter, Kathleen Connors-Boyters (Daniel); and granddaughters, Emma and Abbey Boyters.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 6-8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, Virginia. Services will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Bede Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Road, Williamsburg, Virginia 23188. The family will have a private burial.
