Jesse Madison Hilton Jr.

He is survived by his children, Debra J. Sundy (Bernard), Cathy Ferguson (Calvin), Jeff Hilton (Ryan), and Lori Durrette (Butch); his siblings, Rayford Hilton (Ineva), Juanita Hurst (Edward), Helen Hilton, and Alice Murray (Lawrence); seven grandchildren, Megan, Leslie, Meredith, Jesse, Kelsey, Michael, and Spencer; and seven great-grandchildren. A grandchild, Bernie, also preceded him in death.

A loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a member of Lee Hall Baptist Church for 50 years, but served the Lord his entire life, which included 70 years as a deacon.

Jesse was a WWII and Korean War veteran and retired honorably. He continued to serve his country and retired again from the civil service.

A celebration of life for Jesse will be held Friday, November 1, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, Virginia. A committal graveside service will occur Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Williamsburg Memorial Park, 130 King William Drive, Williamsburg, Virginia.
