He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Rowe Jones; his grandmother, Mildred C. Rowe; brother, Ronald L. Hodges; and uncle, Virgil E. Rowe.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Patricia G. Hodges; his 4 legged best friend, Kela; sister, Brenda L. Hodges; aunts, Dorothy Goswick and Linda Rowe; cousins, Janie Shamrock, Yvonne Shamrock, Jennifer Shamrock and Larry Whittaker; dear friends, Jim Webb and Rik Waldrop; and many co-workers at Newport News Waterworks, where he worked for 27 years and he also was an active volunteer at F.I.S.H.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
