Loren Thomas Anderson

He graduated from Springfield College in Massachusetts in 1954 and later George Washington University from where he obtained his Master’s Degree. Loren served in the U.S. Army Field Artillery LTC during the Vietnam War and retired after 24 years. He then entered the civil service for an additional 21 years. He was also a member of St. Bede Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Delahaye Anderson; son, Jay Anderson; daughter, Valerie Jean Daly and son-in-law Alan Daly.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, May 30th at St. Bede Catholic Church, Ironbound Road, Williamsburg, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Loren’s name to either St. Bede Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Road, Williamsburg, Virginia (www.bedava.org) or to a charity of their choice.
