WILLIAMSBURG - Lorraine Augusta Hansen Kennedy, 96, of Williamsburg, VA, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2015. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and loyal friend. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Emma L. Hansen and her late husband, Leldon V. Kennedy. Lorraine was born and raised in the New York area and graduated from the Bridgeport School of Nursing, class of 1939. She moved to Texas in 1948 from Bridgeport, CT, where she lived until moving to Virginia in 1983, to live with her son and his family. She is survived by her son, Jim and his wife, Sharon; two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren who will miss her. A graveside service will be held on June 29 at 11am at Moore Memorial Garden Cemetery, 1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity.
