

Mrs. Mary Margaret “Mamie” Pastore Dolph, 75, wife of Cyrus A. Dolph IV, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, in Williamsburg, Virginia. Mamie was born in Richmond, Virginia, graduated from William and Mary, and lived in Norfolk for over 40 years where she substituted in the public schools and raised her family.
As a wife and mother, she defined love, faith, courage, perseverance and optimism. A loving wife and mother, she was the heart of the family. Mamie devoted her life to her husband and four children. Mamie touched the hearts of all who knew her with her strength, faith, courage and sense of humor.
Mamie is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Cyrus A. Dolph IV; her children, Cyrus A. Dolph V (Julia C. Lipman), Katie D. Lewis (John W. Lewis), Peter A.M. Dolph (Melissa A. C. Dolph), and Chester V. Dolph (Amy E. Limoncelli); ten grandchildren, Cyrus A Dolph VI, Clara F. Dolph, Sean A. Lewis, Katie M. Lewis, Emma V. Lewis, Patrick E. Lewis, Alexander M. Dolph, Gabrielle M. Dolph, Henry T. Dolph, and Eleanor C. Dolph.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bede Catholic Church, Williamsburg, Virginia at 12:00p.m. Friday, May 12, 2023.
