Cy and family, Bill and I offer our deepest condolences for your family's loss. Mamie carried her cross for a long time along with you all, and we are certain that she is so happy that that burden has been lessened for herself and you all.  A true matriarch, she is passing the torch so that others in the family may continue her legacy. May the blessed Virgin Mary wrap you all in her arms and comfort you during this time.

We were so sorry to learn that Mary has passed away.  What a pleasure to have known her.  She was always smiling and willing to keep us updated on your wonderful family.  And yes, we remember that sense of humor.  Our daughters Andrea, and Lisa remember all the fun times they had while babysitting the children.  And I'm sure the adult children remember them well. Cy, So sad to read of Mamie's passing.  She was a sweet person and the world will be a bit duller without her smile.  There are many great memories of our times together BC, before children.  over dinner with friends and other fun group events.  It was an honor to have known her. Though we lived on opposite sides of the country, Mamie has remained the same wonderful high school friend for over63 years.  Our infrequent in-person visits allowed us to keep in touch but the more recent Covid days gave us an excuse and opportunity to share phone conversations more frequently.  She often spoke of her love of her family and how frustrating her home confinement was.  My prayers are for her family at the loss of such a special wife, mother and grandmother.

Mamie was one of life’s good people. She was a woman of the greatest honor and integrity. She had the most delicious sense of humor. Mamie was always empathetic and kind; she never wanted to talk of herself, but was always interested in others. Her intelligence was great and her sterling, accomplished children are a testament to this and to her great parenting. I always valued her wise advice. Would that she had stayed with us longer. She will be missed.
