Richard "Dick" Paul Miller

Dick served as a Captain in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He later received his BA from John Carroll University and his MBA from the American International College. He worked in finance for Merril Lynch as a Senior Managing Director in New York.

He enjoyed reading, playing bridge and tennis (he also watched tennis when he couldn’t get on the court himself), traveling, and visiting with and spending time with his family.

Dick is survived by his wife of over 60 years of marriage, Janice Miller; sons, Kevin Miller, Jeffrey Miller (Katie), and Todd Miller (Kelly); grandchildren, Hayden, Grant, Tierney, and Davis; and siblings, Ronald Miller and Dede Cummings.

A visitation for Dick will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, Virginia 23188. A private gathering will be held for the family following the visitation.
