Sheila Kernaghan Germain, of Williamsburg, Virginia died peacefully on Thursday, July 17, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, Albert. She is survived by her three daughters, Elizabeth (Preston Daniel) of Alexandria, VA, Cynthia (David Roggenkamp) of San Rafael, CA, and Kathryn (James Lowry) of Alexandria, VA; her five grandchildren, Walter Roggenkamp, Henry Lowry (Nicole), Emma Roggenkamp, John Lowry (Kailey), and Sarah Lowry; a great-grandchild Peter Lowry; sister-in-law Jane Kernaghan of Clemson, SC, and nephew Charlie Kernaghan and his wife Stephanie and children Eli and Blair of Clemson, SC.
Sheila was born in Evanston, IL January 1, 1938. Most of her early years were spent in Scarsdale, NY and she was an alumna of The Ellis School in Pittsburgh, PA. She lived in Fox Chapel, in Pittsburgh, PA with her husband Al, a retired executive of Alcoa for over 40 years.
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm on Friday, July 25, 2025 at St. Bede Catholic Church and reception immediately following.
