Thomas Joseph Golian

Thomas J. Golian, 89, passed away Wednesday, September 21st, in Williamsburg. He is preceded in death by his parents, Imrich and Katherine Golian; brothers, John Golian and Michael Golian; and sister, Mary O’Neal. He grew up in Hannibal, MO and proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Afterwards, Thomas was employed for 48 years at Norfolk Southern and retired as an Executive VP. A member of St. Bede Catholic Church, and the Ancient Order of Hibernians, he was a Notre Dame Football fan, enjoyed playing golf 3 times a week, attending the fitness center, and traveled to 36 countries in his lifetime. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Marilyn; sons, Gary Golian (Nancy), Bruce Golian (Louise), Steve Golian and Jeff Golian; daughter, Lori O’Brien (Andrew); and 10 grandchildren.
