William Daniel Craig, 86, peacefully passed away on August, 30, 2016 in his home. He served his country in the U S Navy and continued to work for the Navy for 40 years after his enlistment. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 44 years, Doris Irene Craig and his son Stephen C. Craig.
Left to cherish his memory is his grandchildren, Chuck D. Craig and Bethany A. Ashfelder both of Stafford, and Troy Stephens of Haymarket; and 2 great grandchildren, Tessa Craig and Tyler Price.
A visitation will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 4-6:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 11 am at Fairfax City Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.nelsencares.com.
