Arlie Gordon Pendell, age 90, passed away November 27, 2014 in Lansing, Michigan.

Arlie was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn, son David, four sisters and three brothers. Surviving to cherish his memory are his daughter Karen (Kenneth) Cook, step-daughter Carol (Richard) Law, sons Gordon Pendell and Robin “Bob” Pendell, step-son Jim (Janet) Confer, thirteen grandchildren, thirty four great-grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, and sister Gertrude “Judy” Parks.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday December 3, 2014 at 11am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 205 E. Middle St., Williamston, with Rev. Michael A. Black of West Lock Wesleyan Church officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Rowley Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10-11am at the funeral home.

Contributions in Arlie’s honor may be made to Hospice Advantage, 801 S. Waverly Road, suite 304, Lansing, Michigan 48917. The family would like to send out a very special thank you to Joan and Stephanie for their loving care they showed dad.
