Genevieve Dorothy Smalley

Genevieve D. (Everett) Smalley peacefully passed away at home Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the age of 88. Genevieve was born March 31, 1925 in Webberville, MI. She was a lifelong resident of this area, she retired from Oldsmobile, and continued to help with the family farm.

Genevieve is survived by her children; Karolyn (Dale Brethower) Smalley of Tucson, AZ., John Smalley of Mason, Jill Smalley of Williamston, Terri (Jim Oeslner) Smalley of Centennial, CO., Vickie (Gary Ewing) Smalley-Ewing of Scottville, Sandra (Dave) Watkins of Williamston, Sherri (Andy) Wheeldon of St. Ignace and Michael Smalley of Williamston. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Her surviving siblings are Paul Everett of Williamston, Virginia Everett of Okemos, and Rusty (Mark) Farrell of Farmington.

Preceding her in death was her husband Norman Smalley, parents Frank and Bertha Everett, daughter-in-law Sheila Smalley, granddaughter Ansara Smalley and six siblings.

Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. There will be a family gathering to celebrate her life at a later time.
