Geraldine Lois Arnold

Born March 13, 1932 to the late D. Lake and Vera Arnold, Geraldine Lois Arnold departed this world for eternity with Jesus on February 20, 2022. Gerrie reunites with her husband Robert Doty, parents, and her sisters Lillian Lockwood and Joyce Ives.

Gerrie worked for the State of Michigan Highway and processed paperwork during the construction of the Mackinac Bridge. She then worked for the Michigan School for the Blind where she retired in 1988.

Family and genealogy were passions of Gerrie's and she always had many stories to tell.

She loved to travel and spent several winters in Ocala, Florida.

Gerrie leaves behind her loving younger sister Lea (Bob) Estes; nieces, nephews, and many great nieces and nephews; Her step-children Steve, Delma Rae, Karen and Linda. Gerrie spent many summers caring for and adventuring with her great nieces and nephews who will undoubtedly hold those memories near to them forever!

A graveside service for Geraldine will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Rowley Cemetery, Perry Rd (M52), Williamston, MI 48895.
