Gregory Ellington Hill Jr.

Gregory E. Hill Jr., age 55 of Wixom, Michigan passed away on December 8, 2021. He was born on January 8, 1966, to the proud parents of Janet Hill and the late Gregory E. Hill Sr. Gregory is the loving father to Gregory E. Hill III wife Tiffany Martin-Hill. He is the cherished grandfather to Seth Hill, Leah Hill, Luke Hill, Landon Martin, Sophia Martin, Ethan Martin, and McKenzie Martin. Gregory is the dear brother to Dianna and Pastor Noel Hack, Stephanie husband Rip Kinne, and Sarah Hill. He will be missed by nephew Joshua (Robin) Hack, niece Ashli (Tyler) Williams, nephew Colby Hack, niece Hannah Hicks, niece Faith (Jake) Martin, nephew Aiden Huntley, and many great-nephews and great-nieces, aunts and cousins and his girlfriend, Karen Vogt-Williams and friends.

Greg was a devoted University of Michigan and Detroit Lions fan. Throughout his life, Greg was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying life while up in Northern Michigan, fishing at Bishop Lake, bowling, cooking at home-his specialty was his spaghetti sauce, steak, and chili, spending time with his family, friends, and his cats. Greg loved the winter and all the snow that came with it. He would say, “The more snow, the better!” He served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in South Korea for a few years. He would talk about his time there and share stories of the people he met and culture he enjoyed. He had a special bond with his niece, Faith whom he called his “little buddy” essentially since the day she was born. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend.

Memorials in memory of Gregory are suggested to Michigan State Parks or AM Vets.
