Born August 30, 1988, the daughter of Merle “Woody” and Barbara (Johnson) Woodman, Jessie unexpectedly passed away on July 17, 2013, at age 24.
Jessie was preceded in death by her Grandma Woody. She is survived by her parents, brother Brent (Heather) Woodman of Ypsilanti, sister Billie (Shane) Harris of Perry, brother Bobby (Angel) Woodman of Williamston, niece Emily Woodman, nephews Travis and Tate Woodman and Tyler Harris, Grandma Johnson of Eaton Rapids, and step-grandfather Walter Keilholtz of Williamston.
Jessie was her daddy’s “Little Bluejay” and her mama’s “Jay Bird”. She was a beautiful and amazing person inside and out, always putting others first. She made a lasting mark on everyone she met especially those at the nursing home whom she loved so much. Jessie had the job she was created to do as a Certified Nursing Assistant; she loved listening to, and spending time with her residents. Jessie loved jewelry which made her feel elegant. Singing and reading were two of her passions. Every night Jessie would call home, always telling her daddy to sleep with angels.
