Kathleen Ann McCann

Kathleen “Kathy” Ann McCann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world way too early at the age of 74 on October 27, 2022. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.

She was born to Allena and Richard Kelly on May 9, 1948. Kathy met her husband of 58 years at the age of 16. They shared a beautiful life residing together in the same home that Kathy had grown up in. Kathy took enjoyment in the simple things of life. The most important of those was her family. She loved them more than anything. Kathy would call each of her children and grandchildren frequently to listen to all they had to say. There was never a story too small or an event too big that she would not make it a priority if it meant family would be around. Some of her favorite activities were taking walks, auctions, yard sales, thrift shopping and visiting with her neighbors. Kathy loved to be surrounded by people and enjoyed the company of her friends and family.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband Harold L. McCann; son John Richard McCann; mother Allena Kelly; and father Richard Kelly.

Kathy is survived by siblings Alice Luckenbill, Sharon (Emery) Place, Daniel (Kathy) Curtis, Dave Curtis; three children Vicky Sipka, Edward McCann, Chad (Mary) McCann; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 205 E. Middle St. Williamston, MI 48895. Interment to follow at Summit Cemetery.
