Lewis Eugene Fillwock

Lewis was born in Portland, Michigan, the son to William and Inez Fillwock on September 7,1932. He graduated from Williamston High School in 1951. On February 19, 1955, Lewis married the love of his life, Patricia Roman, and together they raised a beautiful family for 66 years. Lewis’s greatest joy was being a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, fishing and hunting.

Lewis is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia and their son, David and his parents, William and Inez. Left to carry on their legacy are their children, Diane (Bill) White, Annette (Richard) Ott, Theresa (Paul) Kraus, Patrick (Cathy) Fillwock, Kenneth (Diana) Fillwock, and Robert (Claudia) Fillwock; sister, Betty Lockwood; grandchildren, David, Rhiannon, Andrea (Cody), Patty (Scott), Cassie (Joe), Matthew, Everett, Sarah (Jimmy), Shannon, Max, Shaun, Adam; great-grandchildren, Meghan, Alex, Ben, Emma, Jordan, and Sydney.

A service for Lewis will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Rosary at 7:30 PM, at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Middle St, Williamston, MI 48895. A mass service will occur Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St Mary Catholic Church, 157 High St, Williamston, MI 48895.
