Born July 18, 1925 in Lansing, the daughter of the late William and Estella (Eastman) Hilley, passed away July 2, 2012 at the age of 86. Naomi was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harvey E. Wortz, Sr.; and her son, Harvey E. Wortz, Jr. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Vonya (Dave) Goulooze, Cheryl Flynn and Margene (Col. Richard) Quinn; sons, Jacob (Carol) Wortz and Bill (Lori) Wortz; twelve loving grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and sister, Betty (Johnny) Blaho. Naomi will be remembered as a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister that loved her family with a fierce devotion. She was a woman of prayer, who was very active in her church where she served her Lord and Savior her entire life. Naomi enjoyed playing games and sharing laughter with her family and friends. She also loved, and will be missed, by her special companion, her dog, Angel. There will be a celebration of her life at 3:00 PM on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Mt. Hope Church, 3417 E. Grand River Ave., Williamston, MI. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at the church and from 2:00 – 3:00 PM on Monday prior to the service.
