Nora Jean Morehouse

Nora Morehouse, 78, passed away peacefully at her home in Williamston, Michigan, on November 16, 2025. Born on March 17, 1947, in Owosso, Michigan, Nora lived a life marked by dedication, love, and unwavering commitment to her family and career.

Nora had a successful professional life as a Division Manager for Fiesta Salons. She took great pride in her work and retired after years of service that reflected her strong work ethic and leadership. Her colleagues and those she mentored remember her as hardworking and devoted—a woman who led with both strength and compassion.

Beyond her career, Nora found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a deep love for animals, especially her dogs, who were constant companions throughout the years. Gardening brought her peace and fulfilment. She nurtured each plant with the same care she gave to those around her. But above all else, her greatest joy was time spent with her family.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: son Jerry Lover and daughter Karrie Barton (Michael). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren—Kourtnee Hahn (Jordan), Aubree Schultz (Justin), Mallory McCarthy (Patrick), and Elijah Lover—and through her great-grandchildren: Fiona and Owen Hahn; Lola Schultz; Myles, Kolton, Hayden, and Cormac McCarthy. She will also be missed by her beloved cousin Connie Bashore.

Nora’s nurturing spirit touched every generation of her family. Whether gathered for family dinners or sharing stories at home, she created a sense of warmth that will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
