Sheryl T. Topliff

Williamston, Michigan

Sheryl Topliff, 60, was born in St. Johns, Michigan on March 29, 1954 to Gerald Thelen and Jeanene Ann Becker, and peacefully passed away at home on April 19, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.

Sheryl was a graduate of Pewamo-Westphalia high school, and Central Michigan University. She was employed by the State of Michigan for 20 years, before opening up Topliff’s Tara Bed and Breakfast with her husband of 29 years, Don Topliff. When Sheryl wasn’t working, she loved playing tennis and walking on sandy beaches. Through all life’s trials, Sheryl maintained a genuine faith in Jesus Christ that impacted and comforted all those around her.

Sheryl is survived by her loving husband Don and daughter Kylie (Andrew) Young, parents Mr. and Mrs. Gerald and Jeanene Thelen, sister Kathy (Mike) Wood, brothers Randy (Cheryl) Thelen, Terry Thelen and Tim (Conni) Thelen, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Thursday April 24, 2014 at Trinity Church, 3355 Dunckel Rd., Lansing, at 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Royce Allen will be officiating.
