Ann Louise Roebuck

Ann Louise was born in Martin County on July 2, 1926, daughter of the late Deuard B and Nettie Wynn Mobley. She was a member of the First Christian Church where she served faithfully for many years. She was an avid bridge player and cherished the many friendships she cultivated throughout the years. Her compassionate and giving spirit was a blessing to all those fortunate enough to know her and her life served as a model of Christian love for her children and grandchildren.

On January 2, 1948 she married Bruce Edwin

Roebuck who preceded her in death on November 29,1989. Survivors are daughters Becky Bowling and husband Bob of Windsor, Luanne Brown and husband Jim of Raleigh, Susan Dunning of Bethel and Lisa Rowe and husband Steve of Rocky Mount, sister Jean Hurley of Fayetteville, brother Bobby Mobley and wife Joan of Clemmons, grandchildren Tim Bowling and wife Karen, Ben Bowling, Mandy Vick and husband Brian, Jeff Dunning and wife Lindsay, Sarah Dunning, Allen Rowe, Emily Rowe, special nephew Carroll Jones Jr of Williamston and 3 great grandchildren

The family will receive friends after the church service and other times at the residence 304 E Simmons Ave. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Duke Eye Center 2351 Erwin Road Durham NC 27710, or Community Home Care & Hospice 2479 Hurt Drive Rocky Mount NC 27804.
