Jimmy Randolph Chesson Jr.

Jimmy Randolph Chesson Jr, 43, died Saturday October 6, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 :00 AM at Biggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Jerry Knox and Archie Gilmer officiating; burial will follow at Jamesville Cemetery.

Jimmy was born in Beaufort County on May 28, 1969. He was the son of Jimmy Chesson Sr and Ann Gurganus Chesson. Jimmy worked for Mark Chesson and Sons as a mechanic and attended Calvary Baptist Church. He served on the Williamston Fire Department for 16 years.

Preceding him in death is his maternal grandfather Robert B Gurganus, and paternal grandparents Mark Chesson and Annie Bowen Chesson.

He is survived by his parents Jimmy and Ann Chesson of Williamston, son Gunnar Alex Chesson of Greenville, sister Velvet Stallings and husband Carlton Ray of Williamston, maternal grandmother Doris Williams of Williamston, niece Danielle Hardison and husband Jamey of Williamston, and Ashley Buck and husband Dillon of Williamston, great niece Abby Stallings, great nephews Landon Hardison and Jackson Hardison, and special friends LaWanda Roberson and Dana Mobley White.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00-8:30 PM at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the residence 1844 Bonnie Best Road.
