Jimmy Alton Taylor

Jimmy Alton Taylor, 77, died Wednesday August 10, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center. The graveside service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Robersonville Cemetery with Rev Dean Harrell officiating.

Jimmy was born on May 20, 1939 son of the late Bonnie K and Ella Jackson Taylor. He was retired from Verizon where he was a Data Processing Manager.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Coy Taylor, Bill Taylor, B. K. Taylor, and James Taylor, sisters Betty Eunice Taylor, Christine Cullipher and Elsie Rogerson.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Janie T Taylor, and sisters Kathrine Taylor Bullin and Hazel Taylor Lemon.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Baptist Church or a charity of choice.
