Louise W. Cherry

Louise Wynn Cherry, 83, died Tuesday January 29, 2013. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Biggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Candace Worth officiating; burial will follow at Martin Memorial Gardens...

Mrs Cherry was born in Martin County on September 28, 1929, daughter of the late John and Ella Cherry Wynn. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bear Grass Presbyterian Church. In November of 1958 she married James Dillon Cherry who preceded her in death on May 2, 2012.

She is survived by a daughter Betty Maddry and husband James of Knightdale, sons John Simmons and wife Wanda of Graham, and Brad Cherry and Debbie of McLeansville, grandchildren Fallon Lillis and Molly Ellington, great grandchildren Taylor Maddry, Casey Lillis, Kelsey Ellington, Ava Ellington and Sawyer Ellington, and a niece Patrice Britton.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 -11:00 AM at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the residence on Cherry Lane in Bear Grass.
