

Ronald Peaks, 73, died Monday April 16, 2012 at the Brian Center in Windsor. The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Biggs Funeral Home Chapel with Greg Sexton and Rev Reuben Bachelor officiating; burial will follow at Martin Memorial Gardens.
Ronald was born in Martin County on June 19, 1938, son of Ruth Price Peaks and the late Jodie Peaks. On March 1, 2000 he retired from the Town of Williamston where he had worked as a Water and Street Supervisor. Ronald was a member of Macedonia Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by a brother Bobby Peaks and a granddaughter Robin Ann Peaks. Survivors are wife Sidney Scott Peaks, sons Danny Peaks and wife Joanie, Billy Peaks and wife Winona, and Ronald Peaks and wife Jami all of Williamston, mother Ruth Price Peaks of Williamston, brothers J. L. Peaks and wife Nan, and Donald Peaks and wife Phyllis all of Williamston, sisters Janie Nicholson and husband Chester, and Kathy Deans and husband Frankie both of Williamston, and Deborah Jo Morgan and husband Bill of Winterville, grandchildren Daniel Peaks, Annie Peaks Bonds, Foster Peaks, Heather Ayers, and Victoria Rogers.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7-8:30 PM at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the residence 1265 Price Road
