

Laid to rest on April 7, 2020 during the Holy Week of Easter; beloved wife of the late Anthony M. “Tony”; mother of Teanna Mussachio-Manley, Anthony C. (Jane), Michael (Heidi), Marc (Renae) and Jason (Katie) Mussachio; grandmother of Brendan, Lauren, Morgan (Kaitlyn) Manley, Anthony Medio “AJ”, Devon, Rachel, Aaron, Michael Anthony, Forest, Alexandra and Amelia Mussachio; sister of the late Rosemarie (late Frank) Menza, Charlene (late John) Sansone, Theresa (Thomas) Mosey and; survived by a small army of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She will be celebrated at St Leo the Great Church at a private Catholic Mass for the immediate family with an entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. A Memorial Mass celebrating Annette’s life will be held at a future date.
Annette was a brilliant student, graduating from high school at only 15, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Education from Rosary Hill College and a Master of Arts in Education by 22. She spent nearly 40 years working in the Buffalo Public Schools as an Educator in the Sciences. In 1959 she married her high school sweetheart, Anthony (Tony) M. Mussachio, R.A. and started their family. Tony began Mussachio Architects which operates to this day under their sons’ guidance.
Beyond her full-time teaching career, Annette managed her household as was the matriarch of a loving family; raising five (5) children and eleven (11) grandchildren. Her talents were vast. She played piano and violin, designed flower arrangements, crocheted, painted, and sang prettier than a songbird. She was the Queen of Christmas Eve, hosting annual parties for over 50 years that brought family members back home from across the country. A devoted Catholic; she lived her faith by volunteering at the Weinberg Campus as a Eucharistic Minister.
The family legacy lives on through their children at; two as principals of Mussachio Architects, a Construction Project Manager, an Orlando School District Administrator, and Teachers with Connections Academy Online and the Williamsville School District.
