I am very sad to hear the new of Dan's passing. He was a wonderful guy and made me smile everytime I saw him. My condolences go out to his kids and family. May you find some peace in knowing how many lives he touched everyday. Great guy, he will be missed forever.

Danny was the one person that could bring opposite people together....He could relieve tension in a room with one of his funny comments....He would help anyone with a cause...but I remember him best for making my family feel like part of his....that's what made him special...remember to let your loved ones know how you feel...He always did

We were so sad to hear about Danny, he was a wonderful neighbor and friend to us when we first moved to Herkimer.Lots of fun and laughter..that's how we will always remember him. Danny, you will truly be missed. I will never forget the good laughs. Started in Lockport then carried through to Tonawanda.  It was great working with you and you always knew how to put a smile on everyone's face.  I remember we met one year at Christmas time for breakfast.  Erin had came with me and you gave her a card with money in it and she was so excited.  You were the best Sciascia! You will be missed my friend.

To the family ....know that the legacy of Danny will live on thru others, including me.  He always had a smile to give.  I'm fairly new to GM Tonawanda Engine Plant and Buffalo, but from the first day I met him, he made me feel welcome. God Bless.

Danny, You came to the General Motors Tonawanda Engine Plant about 10 years ago and became my friend and union brother. You enthusiasm was infectious and your encouragement unending. You made us better as a union and a plant and I thank you for that. To the Sciascia family, I offer my deepest respect and sympathy for your loss. Danny's memory and efforts will live on in all of us that he touched.

RIP my Friend. You were always there to make me laugh when I was having a bad day. You will be truly missed and never forgotten

  Our Cardinal Dougherty High School class reunions will never be the same. You were always one of the highlights and a good friend. I'm sure you're making the angels and saints laugh as you made us laugh over the years. Danny, I was blessed and honored to have had my life touched by your joyful spirit and personality. Many of us at Tonawanda Engine plant are heartbroken about Danny's passing. He was an excellent employee and loved by all. He always went the extra mile. He will be sorely missed. Our prayers are with his family. Our faith in God is strong even through these difficult times, but for now, we just cry with you!

I was saddened and shocked to hear about the death of Danny.  He was so full of life and laughter.  In his teen years he spent time in my home and always made me laugh.  God watch over him and his family.

Danny my heart hurts for you! I am so sorry for your loss funny when I saw you a few weeks ago I wanted to tell you our fathers grew up together but you left before I could. I know there is nothing I can o to take the pain away but know that you and your family are in my prayers!

I knew danny from working with him at the Lockport plant and Tonawanda plant. Dan was an all around great guy and so much fun to work with. Dan would always stick up for his workers and would have many of us laughing all day long. You will be missed and rest in peace!!!
