Jane Morgan Wright

October 21, 1926 - February 6, 2015 Jane M. Wright, wife of Albert J. Wright, III died at home on February 6, 2015, while under the care of Hospice. They would have celebrated their sixty-fifth wedding anniversary in April. She is also survived by her children Albert Jay Wright, IV, (Ann) and Jane W. Spohn (George); grandchildren Tressie W. Moslow (Gregory), Katherine S. Streett (Nicholas), David A. Spohn (Corrie), and Albert Jay Wright, V; and great-grandchildren Kelsey and Abigail Moslow, all of whom she deeply loved and enjoyed. Jane’s family lived in Buffalo and the American lake shore in Wanakah. She graduated from the Knox School, then located in Cooperstown, New York, where she

was very active in sports, including swimming, diving and horseback riding. She owned horses in Buffalo for many years and rode in local horse shows. Following Knox, she graduated from Mt. Holyoke College and entered the Master’s program at The University of Buffalo. She enjoyed golfing and played at the Wanakah Country Club and, after marriage, at the Country Club of Buffalo. Mrs. Wright enjoyed swimming, water skiing and boating vacations with her family and golfing vacations with her husband. For many years she was also an active tennis player. Her teaching career included Sunday School at Westminster Presbyterian Church, instructor at The Park School of Buffalo, horseback and swimming

instructor at the Park School summer program, and social studies teacher at the Mill Middle School in Williamsville. Funeral arrangements will be private.
