Age 80, of Williamsville, born March 3, 1933, went to be with his Lord on December 13, 2013. Retired printer and owner of Grover Cleveland Press. Jim was a loving husband to Elizabeth (Feuz), for 56 blessed years; devoted father of Jim (Ann), Michael (Michele), and Thomas (Linda) Degen, Julie (Tom) McAuliffe, and proud grandfather of Ashley (Scott), Christopher, Gregory, Casey, Shawn, Holly, Jamie, Cody, Bryan, Tyler, Timothy, Samantha, and Elisabeth; brother of William (Marion) Degen. Mer Degen was a Korean War veteran and a member of the Amherst Hockey Hall of Fame. Visitation will be held Sunday 3-8 PM at PERNA, DENGLER, ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 1671 Maple Rd., Williamsville. A Christian Celebration of Jim's Life will be held at Williamsville United Methodist Church, 5681 Main Street, Williamsville, on Monday at 11 AM.
